Are you a skilled technician with a passion for diesel power generators? We’re representing a client in search of a talented Diesel Power Generator Technician to join their team. In this role, you’ll oversee repairs and servicing of all Complete Groups Transport Generators, ensuring maintenance is conducted in a timely and efficient manner. Providing first-on-field customer support for breakdowns, repairs, and service works, you’ll uphold high levels of client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, diagnostics, and modifications on engines/generators up to 3350KVA, as well as commissioning of new generators/systems and master controllers. With a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance, along with a valid Driver’s License, Forklift License (LF), and trade qualification as a Mechanic/Diesel Fitter, you’ll bring invaluable expertise to the role.
Requirements
- Manage repairs and servicing of all Complete Groups Transport Generators, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance.
- Provide first-on-field customer support for breakdowns, repairs, and service works, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and modifications on engines/generators up to 3350KVA, including wiring looms/diagrams, and perform commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches, and master controllers.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License, Forklift License (LF), and trade qualification as a Mechanic/Diesel Fitter.
