Mechanical Fitter with Shipbuilding/Marine/Defence Experience

Conduct overhauling of various mechanical units in the workshop to the standards and specifications outlined.

Responsible for the maintenance of equipment including but not limited to compressors, welder generators, Cranes & Davits, Winches, Lifts, Pumps, Valves, HVAC and Piping Systems.

Performance test equipment under the relevant conditions and record equipment performance data.

Assist to prevent to misuse of tooling, vehicles and facilities maintained by the mechanical repair team.

Measure, calibrate and record mechanical sizes and equipment as required.

Complete and maintain project documentation including work instructions, test and inspections plans, task risk assessments and quality records.
Qualifications:

Requires minimum 5 years of experience, with expertise in Shipbuilding, Defence and/or Marine Industry.

Has experience working on industrial equipment such as mills, crushers, pulleys, gearboxes, filtration systems and/or de-salination.

Relevant knowledge in using Rota broach/slugger broach (Magnetic Drill), angle torque wrench and flanges.

IELTS / PTE exempt preferred.
